At Gennova, we have developed a definition of CSR – Corporate Scientific Responsibility. We feel responsible to give back to the society in the form of skill development of our youth towards nation- building. It is the responsibility of our organization to collaborate with educational institutes and academia to bring new perspectives to problem- solving directly in support of our mission of transforming healthcare.

OBJECTIVE
“Abhyudaya” means ascendant or flourishing period; raising or opening of one’s fortunes. Gennova sponsors the Abhyudaya Student Internship Program (SIP) that offers internships at the Gennova facility throughout the year, to attract and engage passionate students from prominent colleges pan-India and globally. The program is designed to provide best in class experiential learning that integrates the practical application of knowledge and theory learned in a classroom and skills development in a professional setting, thereby leading to the creation of a job opportunity.

An Internship program not only helps students in gaining professional know- how but also benefits us in getting fresh perspectives on academia, young students’ knowledge, and their aspirations. Developing an internship program is an impactful strategy for creating a future talent pool for Gennova and bridging the gap between industry and academia.
Gennova places applicants based on availability and program needs and selects interns based on the best fit for 6-12 months (according to the institute’s curriculum requirements). While positions are limited, all applications are retained in an applicant pool for one year from the application submission date.

SCOPE
This Abhyudaya SIP applies to all Manufacturing, R&D and support functions of the Gennova business value chain.

For students, it applies to those of selected institutes/colleges pan-India in Phase 1 and moving to the global level in Phase 2.
